Do you know how my dysmenorrhea bouts cost me a lifetime opportunity? I missed Marie Digby's visit to my own city! Yes, the Marie Digby that I have been watching in youtube BEFORE she even made it big. I always loved that girl! It's not just her voice but her total personality which came with her sweet voice. Me and my cousin Rhyn have been watching her videos way back her Cafe Vivere days and we have been discussing whether Marie was bored in her house that's why she is making covers of the famous songs. And we have also discussed at how big Marie's house it because she's been recording videos in different spots of her house. Lol! And then there was this discussion on how talented she is because she can play both the guitar and violin. Oh wait, I did not actually see Marie play the piano but I'm sure there was a piano on one of her youtube videos. =) I actually lost two opportunities: aside from Marie Digby, Maria Aragon also visited my city, aslo sponsored by NCCC Mall, and it's all because of my dysmennorhea!!! Grrr!

Outfit of the day

My sister dreams of being a nurse someday. Sadly, she has prader willi syndrome and her dream of becoming a nurse would only remain as a dream. But she's happy to wear Ate Christine's scrubsuit and she wishes to have her new pair of white scrubsuit just like what nurses wear. She may not become a registered nurse someday but she will always be our little big angel. (--,)

I haven't found user reviews yet. It would be good to know how the GPS functions. The GPS feature of my Nokia E63 phone did not function well. Anyway, I don't really use GPS but it's good to have all your phone features working and usable.

I think this will be my next phone. (Fingers crossed)

Weddings...

I have been to another wedding last Saturday and it was fun! This time, I was just an ordinary guest and I didn't even have to touch the microphone unlike the previous wedding that I have attended.

It's funny because during weddings, I always notice that single women are so hesitant to line up for the throwing of the bouquet. Unlike what we see in movies where single ladies are eager to catch the bouquet, Filipinas are just shy and would rather just sit and not participate. Same goes for the gentlemen during the garter toss. The program would sometimes drag because of this and sometimes, host would literally beg the single ladies and gentlemen to join the fun. Why not skip this tradition?

Anyway, weddings are just one of those feel-good moments where you get to see the beautiful and blushing bride, the excited groom, and just everyone else smiling! It's one of those rare moments when you see two persons at their happiest, and the whole crowd also happy for them.

Dinner Date

These photos were taken during Karen's visit. It was a quick dinner date and it was just like the old times. But hey, we're not that old.... This is the "after" lawschool bratpack. I hope we all become good lawyers someday.

I remember Karen saying that we, girls, are malnourished. I recently lost 4 kilos due to asthma and Karen is reviewing in Manila, so the weight loss has its reasons. We don't intentionally starve ourselves. How come the boys in these photos are so, uhmmm... healthy? (--,)V

I'm Back!!!

I just had a week-long vacation and I feel good. Yes, I am very tired as of this writing, I literally just stepped down the plane and it was a turbulent flight but I'm whole and alive and good to be back to my hometown.

Since I was talking about cellular phones during my previous post, let me just share that during my vacation, I was able to accompany my beau in purchasing new cellphones. I helped him pick the brand, type, and model and I was a little hesitant with my suggestions simply because I don't know the persons whom those cellphones will be given. I have previously bought cellphones for other people but previously, I was sure of what models and brands to choose because I personally know the persons who will use the cellphone. For me, it is important to know the functions and features that would be helpful to the mobile phone user because you don't want to buy some high-end ones with features which will only be ignored.

Personally, I don't buy cellphones in impulse. That may be the only merchandise that I don't buy in impulse. Haha! I always (and I mean it) buy the cellphone with features that I really really like. Yes, I also had regrets on some of my purchases but I see to it that I would be able to get my money's worth for the gadget that I buy.

Currently, I'm still using my Samsung Chat 3222, the first dual-sim cellphone released by Samsung. It currently costs around P4,000 but Samsung has also released a newer and more affordable dual-sim cellular phone, the Chat 222. I don't have any major complaints with my current cellphone aside from it's slow keypad response, but I'm still using it now, I just make sure to type slowly. =) I've been having plans in purchasing a new unit but I have not found a replacement yet. I still like Nokia E71 but I want a dual-sim cellular phone. Hopefully I could find a great dual-sim cellular phone with the Nokia E71 features! =)
